FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP

Friendship Village, the only LifeCare retirement community in St. Louis, is announcing the selection of a new Corporate Operations Director for both the Chesterfield and Sunset Hills communities.

Management company Life Care Services joined with Howard Curtis, local Board President in affirming the selection of Michael Heselbarth as the new Corporate Operations Director. He will serve as Executive Director for Friendship Village Chesterfield with oversight responsibility for Friendship Village Sunset Hills. Mr. Heselbarth, after graduating from Indiana State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration and a Master's Degree in Business Administration, garnered 12 years' experience in senior living by managing communities in Indiana, Maryland and, most recently, Stone Mountain, Georgia.

In another move, the board created a new position to build the Friendship Village brand and integrate marketing efforts by naming Joanna Jones-Raymond as Marketing Director for both communities. She will focus on promoting the planned $60 million expansion announced last spring and other growth initiatives. Ms. Jones-Raymond has 20 years' experience in marketing and branding with work largely for major brands such as Holiday Inn, PaperMate, Kraft, Enterprise and Nikon.

The Friendship Village senior experience includes the LifeCare program which assures unlimited days of assisted living and skilled nursing care on site, if needed, at a known predictable cost. Heselbarth pointed out, "In a complex world, that means quality care at a known cost and substantial savings over other health care options."

Friendship Village is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization under the direction of a local Board of Directors and Life Care Services, the nation's leader in retirement living. For over 30 years, Friendship Village has been providing residents with a fulfilling, worry-free lifestyle, and has earned a strong reputation within St. Louis, Missouri. As the area's exclusive LifeCare retirement community, Friendship Village offers independent living apartments, villas and cottages, assisted living and skilled nursing care all on campus and at a predicable monthly rate. Friendship Village currently serves over 800 local senior adults.
