Meet the Friendship Village Chesterfield Staff
Michael Hambley, Executive Director
Mike joined the Friendship Village family in early 2017 as the Executive Director of Friendship Village Chesterfield. Mike moved to St. Louis from Chattanooga, where he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ascension Senior Living’s largest CCRC campus and multi-site operation. Previously, he served as Administrator of the Catholic Care Center in Wichita, KS and Executive Director within the Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System in Hutchinson, KS.
Mike holds a Masters of Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University, a Doctor of Ministry from Western Theological Seminary, a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from Spring Arbor University. His theological degrees were put to use as Pastor of Free Methodist Churches for over 20 years.
Mike’s passions include his wife, four children, team sports, reading, chess, and training Golden Retrievers for conformation/obedience shows.

Ryan McHugh, Village Care Center Administrator
Ryan McHugh joined the Village Care Center team as Administrator after spending the last 14 months as Administrator of Fountain View at Friendship Village Sunset Hills. Before joining the Friendship Village family, Ryan was the Executive Director of a newly-opened assisted living and memory care community in the Denver area. Prior to his Colorado venture, Ryan had worked in Administration at another St. Louis-area assisted living community; a role he fulfilled for nearly five years before being promoted. Ryan brings years of experience and a well-rounded knowledge of the Senior Living industry and its strict regulations. Ryan has a true passion for helping seniors, which can be seen daily as he spends quality time with the residents! Ryan has a hands-on approach to his resident-centered care program, ensuring the highest quality of life for all of the residents. Ryan’s goal is to make sure his residents are safe, happy and healthy! In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors, running with his dogs, attending St. Louis Cardinals games and spending time with his family.

Mark Golliday, Food And Beverage Director
Mark has spent the past 25+ years as a Director of Food and Beverage. In 2001, he joined the Friendship Village Chesterfield management team. Mark also served over 28 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves. Mark recently retired as a Command Sergeant Major, after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Management and Human Resource Management and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. Mark has three daughters, a son, three grandchildren and a boxer named Zeus. Mark enjoys all sports and still competes in track and field events throughout the year.

Judy Moore, Residency Director
Judy and her husband have lived in Chesterfield, Mo., since 1985 where they raised their two daughters. Judy moved to St. Louis after living in Evanston, Ill., Racine, Wis., Phoenix, Ariz., Chicago, Ill., Springfield, Oh., and Canandaigua, N.Y. She can relate to residents moving! While in St. Louis, Judy first worked at Ralston Purina as a director where she developed and deployed the first personal computer and analysis systems to Beech Nut, cereal, and pet food businesses for Purina. After a brief “Stay at home Mom” trial Judy moved into senior living with Friendship Village in 1995. Judy was the Marketing Coordinator until 2002 when she was promoted to the Marketing Director--now Residency Director. Degrees/education: BA Wittenberg University, Psychology, Phys. Ed.; Management degree, Marquette University; Long-Term Care Ombudsman certification. Judy enjoys running and has completed 10 full marathons, 20+ half-marathons and two triathlons.

Jenifer Russell, Community Life Services Director
Jenifer is a graduate of Iowa State University where she received a degree in Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.
In 2015, Jenifer celebrated 20 years of service at Friendship Village Chesterfield. As the Community Life Services Manager, she is responsible for directing volunteers, transportation, in-house programming, annual events, wellness programming, resident communication, and salon services.

Jake Bennett – Chaplain
Jake has over 10 years of pastoral care experience and has been with the FVC community since 2008. He is married (Rebekah) with four children. Jake is ordained through the Presbyterian Church in America and is in the process of becoming fully licensed by the State of Missouri as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He loves to read, learning to love to garden and enjoys riding his bike with his family through Forest Park. Education: MDiv (Covenant Theological Seminary), MAC (Covenant Theological Seminary), BA Information and Computer Science (Covenant College).

Joanna Jones-Raymond, Director of Marketing and Communications
Joanna has a 22+ year career in advertising and marketing, beginning as the Promotions Director for a formal wear company, then spent 16 years at Momentum, a global advertising and marketing agency, and then as Vice President of Marketing for a specialty apparel company. Joanna has a B.S. In Theatre and also in Communications from Ball State University and a Masters in Marketing from Webster University.
Joanna is a public speaker for two advocacy groups, including the Down Syndrome Association. She has two children, and remarried in 2012, gaining four bonus daughters and two devious 70 pound Labrador retrievers.

Kate Myers, Friendship Fund Director
Kate came to Friendship Village after being the Director of Volunteers at St. Mary’s Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo. Before that Kate spent 5+ years at the American Cancer Society in fundraising. Kate brings 14+ years of not-for-profit knowledge to both communities. She holds a BS degree in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University. Kate is married and has a daughter and two wonderful bonus daughters.

Carmen Worley, Community Outreach Director
Carmen joined the Friendship Village team in 2011, splitting her time between fundraising and outreach on the Chesterfield campus. She moved into full-time Community Outreach for both campuses a year later, and enjoys building relationships and business referrals in this role. She comes to us with experience in development, event planning, volunteer management, teaching, and communications. Carmen holds undergraduate degrees in Advertising, PR and Education from Drake University as well as a Master’s Degree in Education from Washington University. She has two boys and sings at various opportunities throughout the area. She loves her family, her church, the beach, and chocolate (not always in that order)!

Karen Powers, Care Navigator
Karen has been a nurse for 21 years, graduating from Webster University with her BSN. She has been with Friendship Village since 2000. She is married and has two daughters, and one grandbaby. Her great passions are Boxers and quilting. And grandchildren.

Sarah Eggering, Health At Home Director
Sarah leads the team providing home health and private duty services to residents through Friendship Village’s sister company through Life Care Services--Health at Home. With offices on both campuses, residents can conveniently access their services at affordable rates.

Suzanne Sheldon-Krieger - Chief Compliance Officer
Suzi joined Friendship Village in early 2017, having previously served as Vice President of Risk Management for Ascension Senior Living. Prior to her years at Ascension, she served as In-House Counsel, Director of Risk Management and Corporate Compliance for Lutheran Senior Services. Suzi has a passion for people, team building and employee development while getting things done timely and cost effectively.
Prior to working for several law firms, Suzi was (and still is!) a Registered Nurse, with a background in women’s health and labor and delivery.
Suzi loves to read, travel, crochet, and spend time with her hubby, grown children and her favorite “child” – Stella the Wonder Pug.
Time Vosse, Chief Financial Officer
Tim joined Friendship Village in July 2017, as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Friendship Village, Tim served as the CFO for two family-held businesses. His career includes nearly 15 years in senior healthcare and services, the majority with Bethesda Health Group as CFO.
Tim is on the Board of The Independence Center, and is active in the community through other professional associations. Tim graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Tim is extremely excited to be “back home” in senior care and services with the Friendship Villages. He’s committed to preserving the mission and growing the Friendship brand to touch the lives of more seniors throughout the St. Louis area who we are fortunate to serve. Tim and his wife enjoy cooking, dining out, golf and travel. They have five children in high school and college, so are adjusting to a quieter home and look forward to the times when all the kids are together creating laughter and memories.
