Friendship Village is so proud to announce we’ve been selected as an All-Star Award Winner for Outstanding Performance in this year’s 2022 STL Headliner awards! We were recognized as a favorite in six categories (Senior Independent Living, Assisted Living Facility, Memory Care Facility, Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Facility and Customer Service)!

Our residents recently got to cruise the Missouri River aboard the $5 million luxury yacht Miss Augusta. They were treated to a delicious lunch, watched an eagle do some fishing, strolled the deck and chatted with the captain, too. It was a day we won’t soon forget!

About twenty high school student volunteers and their adult chaperones spent a few days volunteering to beautify things around the Friendship Village Chesterfield campus and we’re so grateful they were here! The students came from multiple states including Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia as part of their “FUGE” (as in FUSION) summer camp. The faith-based group is a fusion of various faiths (Baptist, Methodist, and non-denominational) and spent a week in St. Louis seeing the sights, volunteering and building the bonds of their respective faiths. Meet Frankie! She was certified in 2022 as a Therapy Dog and we couldn’t be happier now that she’s “working” at Friendship Village Sunset Hills! Frankie loves to make friends and visit in our Memory Care Neighborhood as she brings happiness to any room she’s in. When she’s not out and about, making Friendship Village a happy place, she’s usually in Rebekah Manwarring’s office, waiting for visitors, treats and scritches.
